Organize Asset Clue Information

Asset clues are important hints delivered to your recipient when you become unreachable, helping them locate your assets. Download a template and fill in the asset clues you want to deliver.

Asset clues may include

  • Bank accounts (bank name, account number, balance)
  • Securities/Funds (institution, account, balance)
  • Cryptocurrency (platform, account, balance)
  • Insurance policies (company, policy number, type, coverage)
  • Real estate, vehicles, important item locations
  • Key device locations (hardware keys, cold wallets, USB shields)
  • Debts and credits (creditor, debtor, amount)

Do NOT include passwords, seed phrases, private keys, or any information that can directly access assets

Set Decryption Password

Xtrust uses a zero-knowledge architecture and does not store your password. You need to set a password that only the recipient knows, or store it securely.

1. Password Hint

A clue to help the recipient recall or find the password. For example: "Destination of our first family trip" or "The password is in the blue envelope in the study safe."

2. Decryption instructions (optional)

Instructions on how to unlock the file. For example: "Please download 7-Zip to extract the file. The password is the answer to the hint above."

3

Encrypt Document

Use any encryption tool you trust. AES-256 encryption is recommended.
